The Wolverhampton Ring Road: A Plan to Avoid the Humdrum
January 28 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Winner of the 2019 Wolverhampton History Symposium, Jayne Murray gives a presentation on the city’s most contentious historical subject.
The Wolverhampton inner ring road has remained a point of great debate since construction began in 1960. Jayne’s presentation will look at this grand project, what was lost as a result of the construction work and what the ring road offered to the city.
To kick off the 2020 calendar, this event is FREE to all; members and visitors. Registration must be carried out via Eventbrite to ensure a place is available for you.
This is also the first event to see a change of venue to Penn United Reform church. Refreshments will be available at no additional charge.
