With their homeland crushed under the Nazi jackboot, patriots from The Netherlands regrouped on a country estate west of Wolverhampton and planned for the revenge against Hitler and the Third Reich.

Famed local historian, Angus Dunphy returns to Wolverhampton to detail the story of the Wrottesley Park camp, which was home to the Princess Irene Brigade from 1941 to 1944, and is the subject of his latest book.

Angus is a famed local historian and native of Wolverhampton, although he now resides in Wales. He has produced books on a great number of topics, the majority of which are on locations in the West Midlands.

Copies of his latest book, The Princess Irene Brigade at Wrottesley Park, 1941-44 will be available for sale at the event.

This if a free talk for members, but please note guests are required to pay a donation of £3 on the door. Tea or coffee will be available to all at no additional cost.
