A History of Methodism in Wolverhampton

September 29 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Methodism has a long and storied place in the history of Wolverhampton. Rev. Donald Ryan leads you from John Wesley through to the present.

With the closure of the Darlington Street Methodist Church in 2019, it is a particularly sad time in the history of the religion in the city.

Reverend Donald Ryan details a fascinating history from the visit of John Wesley in 1760, through the construction of the various wonderful buildings that have been home to the religion over the years.

This talk is free to members, with guests paying just £3 on the door.
